Our leisurely pre-Christmas three- or four-night Lapland holiday offers the ultimate opportunity for you and your children to be fully immersed into the wonders of Lapland and spend quality time together, with a greater chance of witnessing the Northern Lights. Malla CabinsThe Malla cabins (named after the legendary local giant Malla) comprise of two twin rooms and a spacious mezzanine level with two further beds, ideal for parties up to six people. A stone fire place at the heart of the cabin’s living area creates the perfect space to unwind after an adventure-filled day in the snow, and for adults to relax in after the little ones have gone to bed! Meals are served in Tundrea's restaurant, a short walk away. |

Malla Premium CabinsThe Malla Premium cabins are perfect for families looking for a more luxurious getaway. Though the floorplan of the Malla Premium and Standard cabin options are the same, the interiors differ, with the Premium cabins being furnished in a contemporary Scandinavian style with traditional carvings and Aurora skyscapes adorning the walls. Meals are served in Tundrea's restaurant, a short walk away. |

ApartmentsThe Tundrea Apartments are situated in an ideal location, nestled amongst Tundrea's collection of cabins. The layout is simple and works perfectly for a cosy stay in Lapland: a mezzanine sleeping level with room to sleep two, and an open-plan living and kitchenette area which converts into a sleeping area for two further people make up this option. Polar Arctic ChaletsThe chalets at the Arctic Polar Village offer homely comforts in a spectacular Arctic surround. There are two types of chalets depending on the size of the party. The first of these is 28m2 and sleeps up to 3 (with a child sleeping on a fold down bed). the second measures 58m2, accomodating parties up to 6 with four single beds set on a split mezzanine level. All chalets have a private sauna and some of the larger chalets have a fireplace. |

We’ve included a number of winter experiences in this 3 or 4-night Lapland holiday for this year. A highlight of your trip is the thrill of husky-sledding through the pristine landscape, a very popular winter activity in Lapland. Depending on weather and trail conditions, adults may get the chance to mush, guiding the team of dogs. You can explore the Arctic terrain further on a breath-taking snowmobile safari. Excitement mounts as you set off on your search for Santa. Glide through vast snow-covered forests aboard a reindeer-drawn sleigh in search of a secret hideaway where a private family encounter with Santa himself awaits! Chances for playtime in the snow are plentiful - zoom down the toboggan slope or join one of our exciting optional excursions.

Northern Lights Snowmobile Safari
Take a night safari driving your own snowmobile, led by a local guide, to a nearby vantage point where, if you are lucky, you may see the Northern Lights (cannot be guaranteed). Children travel in sleds pulled behind the guide's snowmobile...

Ice Fishing by Snowmobile
This is a great trip for all the family. You travel by snowmobile to a nearby popular fishing site where you can try your hand at traditional ice fishing – you just drill a hole in the ice and lower your baited hook into the icy waters below.*

Further Information
All excursions include expert guides, equipment and all necessary instruction. On our Northern Lights night safaris, we search for the best viewpoints rather than aim to cover a specific distance.
On all safaris, unless a supplement is paid to secure a single rider, you may be required to share with another person from the group. All prices are per person. All distances and durations are approximate and subject to weather conditions and route on the day.
All excursions are subject of minimum numbers and local conditions and are non-refundable. However, you will be automatically refunded the full price paid for your excursion if it doesn’t go ahead due to operational reasons.
*All Snowmobile activities carry a €550 damage deposit which is payable locally. A valid driving license must be shown upon arrival.** The ability to drive and control a husky team on longer safaris is determined by physical attributes. Normally, anybody over the age of 18 should be able to handle a dog team comfortably.

All the dates above are available as of our last update. However the prices and tours are subject to availability and availability cannot be guaranteed for late bookings made between Oct-Dec where availability will be extremely limited with most tours likely to be full. Alternative tours will be offered should this tour be fully booked.
