Our three-night break departing 30 December will take in all the excitement of a New Year Eve celebration. Your Christmas holidays in Lapland will be filled with activities to keep your children enthralled throughout this very special time of year, not least setting out in search of the grand old man himself. Imagine an unforgettable encounter with Santa Claus in his secret cabin, deep in the heart of snowy Lapland. A land of snowmobile safaris, husky trips, reindeer sleigh rides, and endless fun in the snow awaits for you and your family - as well as the magical search for Santa and, on the big day itself, a special Christmas Dinner. Travel through indigenous Sami landscapes on a thrilling snowmobile safari and be enchanted by the enthusiasm of the husky dogs that take you on an unforgettable sledging adventure through the Arctic wilderness. Journey by reindeer drawn sleigh through sparkling, snow sprinkled forests to Santa's hideaway cabin - a private family encounter with Father Christmas will surely be an indelible memory for years to come. Time still abounds for fun in the snow, too!

Puppy Encounter
Strictly limited numbers are available for this exciting chance to befriend the husky puppies. You are transferred to the husky camp, where you meet the new puppies and hear stories from real mushers.

Reindeer Herding Safari
You will visit a reindeer gathering place where you learn about herding and even how to lasso a reindeer. Then venture into the Arctic wilderness on a short safari, drawn through the snow by a reindeer while sitting in a sleigh.

Ice Fishing by Snowmobile
This is a great trip for all the family. You travel by snowmobile to a nearby popular fishing site where you can try your hand at traditional ice fishing – you just drill a hole in the ice and lower your baited hook into the icy waters below.*

Northern Lights Husky Experience
Take a night safari on a sledge mushing your own team of dogs to a nearby vantage point where you may see the Northern Lights the sky above (cannot be guaranteed). Those under 18 years old will travel as passengers in a sled

A Night In An Igloo
An extraordinary experience! Inside, the igloo is surprisingly warm and cosy. There is a real bed for a comfortable night's sleep, with a snow surround and covered with reindeer hides.

Further Information
All excursions include expert guides, equipment and all necessary instruction. On our Northern Lights night safaris, we search for the best viewpoints rather than aim to cover a specific distance.
On all safaris, unless a supplement is paid to secure a single rider, you may be required to share with another person from the group. All prices are per person. All distances and durations are approximate and subject to weather conditions and route on the day.
All excursions are subject of minimum numbers and local conditions and are non-refundable. However, you will be automatically refunded the full price paid for your excursion if it doesn’t go ahead due to operational reasons.
AVAILABILITY
All the dates above are available as of our last update. However the prices and tours are subject to availability and availability cannot be guaranteed for late bookings made between Oct-Dec where availability will be extremely limited with most tours likely to be full. Alternative tours will be offered should this tour be fully booked.
